comment: considered as a junior synonym of L. vollenhoveni Stål, by Horvath (1900), it was discussed and maintained as a good species by Distant a little later the same year. Apart from the smaller size, this species seems in fact very close to L. vollenhoveni. I therefore included it in the Lyrodes subgenus.
